Domestic violence is a crime that happens behind closed doors, with hundreds of thousands of women suffering in silence. ‘You Can Leave’ special edition, tells the stories of three abused women, and reflects the most common excuses given to family and friends when bruises start to show – “I walked into something”, “I ran into a door”, “I fell down the stairs”.
These t-shirts have the signature of British artist Jacqueline Bissett, well-known for her hand rendered fashion illustrations.
